This mold produces a very realistic, full-size wagon wheel. For ornamental use, concrete is far better than wood because it cannot rot. Mold makes the wheel with a flat back (excellent for mounting against a wall or fence). The uses are almost unlimted. They've even been used on plaster ceilings for escutcheons with lights hanging from the hub and rim. Join to of them back-to-back to make a complete, three-dimensional product as illustrated in the side-view photo.
Each wheel requires reinforcement with 1/4" or 3/8" diameter rod. Standard procedure is to make a loop around the entire rim and place a rod in each spoke. This requires approximately 34 feet of rod per item.
